Today is my 3rd wedding anniversary and my wife bought me a new shaving brush. On to today’s shave:

Good shave today, I found the brush had good backbone, maybe too much but I’m hoping it’ll break in a bit with use. I really like the zebra beehive style handle though.
The Soapy Bathman Desperado soap lathered up very nicely and the scent is very nice and lasts well throughout the shave. I maybe didn’t use enough water as it was drying out a little towards the end of my shave but a few drops of water cured that.
A great scent on this soap, here is the scent description from the Soapy Bathman website:
An amazing blend of Grapefruit, star anise, bergamot, lavender, violet leaf, whiskey, vetiver, amber and tobacco you can see why it doesn’t get much manlier then this.
Another nice 3 pass shave with the mongoose and the blade is going well 3 shaves in.
I finished off with a splash of Floid Vigoroso to continue the manly scent provided by the Desperado soap. A nice little menthol cooling sensation, not as strong as I would like but nice anyway.
